Warranty & Care Information
Trailer Care & Maintenance Guide
New trailers are issued with a 3-year WoF. As annual inspections are not required, it is essential that owners carry out regular checks and maintenance. Routine maintenance is also a condition of this warranty.
Maintenance Schedule
- Wheel Bearings: Check and adjust after 2 months, then every 6 months. Repack with grease as required.
- Wheel Nuts: Check tightness after 2 weeks.
- Lights & Wiring: Ensure all lights are functioning correctly.
- Bolts & Fittings: Inspect coupling bolts, U-bolts, shackle bolts, and bushes.
- Grease Points: Regularly grease (especially on tandem or braked trailers).
- Brakes: Lubricate caliper slides for smooth operation.
Safe Use Guidelines
- Do not exceed the recommended Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM)
- Overloading will void the warranty
- Always operate within both trailer and towing vehicle limits
- Position the majority of load over the axle(s)
- Keep loads low, balanced, and secure
General Care
- Store under cover where possible
- Clean after each use, especially after carrying grass clippings, fertiliser, or acidic/alkaline materials
- Wash thoroughly after exposure to salt water or corrosive environments
Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity, safety, and performance of your trailer.
